Charming Stay, Minor Hiccup

During my visit, the staff demonstrated genuine attentiveness. I needed help with the shower, and the owner assisted me directly! The three rooms we booked were well-appointed. My teenagers particularly enjoyed the hotel's atmosphere.

The wash basin in the room was quite small, a bit inconvenient. I also found the minimalist furnishings in the reception area rather basic. The outside garden looked a little neglected, and not very inviting for sitting.

I found the suite with the big bathtub amazing. The atmosphere throughout the entire hotel was beautiful. The staff members were always very friendly and gave great personal service. I loved the place. It was a nice stay.

The hotel's own coffee is very good. The breakfast is the best I had in Portugal! The restaurant also has reasonable prices. The food is finely prepared, and the dining experience is elevated because of this.

The hotel is a lovely historical house, tastefully furnished and with lots of attention to little details. It has a gorgeous little garden. One can relax and have food and drinks. Rooms were comfy and clean. Taxis are plentiful.

For a six-night stay, I appreciate the restored palace with its original art. Reception gave a very nice tour. Breakfast has many options and great taste. I am glad there is a coffee roaster on the hotel.

The staff seemed a bit too aggressive about payment procedures right away. The room looked very basic. Cleanliness could improve a little. Curtains needed attention.

the staff at reception felt a bit aggressive and procedural with payment and listing rules before anything else the room itself was basic, and the bathroom felt quite sterile. our room was located just above reception, so it was fairly noisy each time the door slammed

The hotel considered my request for complimentary treats as my mom visited. We were greeted with delicious pastel de nata! The hotel shows great condition, and the staff are always available when you need help. Free coffee ☕️ from their brewery is a very cool touch. I also appreciated that there are readily accessible toilets.

I found the breakfast service to be slow , even though the food tasted great.

Our room was spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities provided. The decor mixed modern style with the architecture of an 18th-century palace. The hotel set back from main thoroughfares made it a quiet , relaxing place.

The breakfast was excellent , with quality fresh products setting us up for the day. They offer an excellent list of coffees to choose from. The courtyard is perfect for sipping a coffee from their on-site roastery.
